Business Forum

It is a meeting to discuss and reflect themes on entrepreneurship and innovation, and the importance of the university-company relationship, among professors, students, and professionals.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week

It is a set of activities focused on entrepreneurial actions in the fields of work, education, health, mobility, safety, and environmental issues. Lectures, workshops, and seminars are offered in Porto Alegre and São Leopoldo.

Research in Practice

It provides an opportunity for students to discuss and reflect on relevant issues involving organizations and markets. The objective is to supply an environment for the discussion of contemporary topics that contribute to networking and executive practices.

Controllership and Finance Congress

Conferences with renowned lecturers in accounting, finance and controllership areas, which are the research lines of the Graduate Program in Accounting.

Opening Class

It takes place at the beginning of the academic year and it includes the participation of a national or international lecturer discussing relevant themes for the management and business areas. The event aims to welcome students and scholars for the coming year.

Business Administration Academic Week

This event includes lectures and activities intended for the students of the Business Administration program. It takes place in September, when we celebrate the Administrator Day.

Accounting, Economics and Financial Management Academic Week

This event is promoted by the students with the support of the heads of the departments. It occurs in the second semester of the year, and it is intended for the students of the Accounting, Economics and Financial Management programs.

The Economics program has had two regular exchange experiences, one to the United Kingdom and the other to the University of Coimbra, in Portugal, lasting six months. Some courses also did study trips to Chile and Uruguay.

During the program’s fifth semester, the students spend two weeks in Geneva attending classes at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations.

The Management for Innovation and Leadership undergraduate program provides the academic, in the sixth semester, the opportunity for him to perform the mobility abroad. Then, for six months, students study at universities in countries such as Germany, Belgium, Canada, South Korea, Spain, the United States, Portugal and Sweden.

PhD in Administration

Sandwich Doctorate

From 2009 to 2017, 33 Ph.D students have done doctoral internships abroad in countries such as Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, United States, Finland, France, Netherlands, England, Italy, Portugal, and Sweden.

Master's Degree in Business Administration

The Professional Master's in Business and Management Program focuses on the executive public, and qualifies professionals for a systemic and international management perspective. The program includes the possibility of double degree with the University of Poitiers. The double degree gives the student the title of Master in Business and Management by the Ministries of Education in Brazil and France.

International Cooperation

The Unisinos Business School is a member of the International Association of Jesuit Business Schools (IAJBS), whose mission is to promote education in management and business based on justice, combined with academic and professional preparation for leadership in a global economy. The School is also connected with the Global Jesuit Case Series (GJCS) whose objective is to produce and disseminate teaching cases that reflect business where values, social justice, human dignity, moral leadership and sustainability co-exist with innovation and competitiveness.

Cooperatives of women produce hygiene and cleaning products by recycling cooking oil. The School supports this cooperative by helping them with management issues.

Nova Conquista

The School provides management and marketing support for the recycling cooperative Nova Conquista.

The School provides management and marketing support for the recycling cooperative Vitória.

Novo Horizonte

The School offers personal finance workshops for people with heavy debts who participate in the PRASJUR - Unisinos program.

Qualificando seu caminho

The purpose of this activity is to train people for the job market.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center

The center launched its activities in 2014. It seeks to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in social management for sustainable development in the local context based on education, research, consulting and applied projects.
