NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING (NLP) is a main subjectfor artificial intelligence research, on par with computervision and scene understanding. Knowledge is encodedand transferred among individuals through text,following a formally defined structure. Nonetheless,distinct languages, context, and subtle particularitiesof different communication channels are complexchallenges that researchers must cope with.Hence, the task of general language modeling andunderstating was divided into multiple subtasks.
