Neotropical Biology and Conservation publishes original research articles in the fields of ecology, zoology, botany and conservation. Special emphasis is given to papers that develop new concepts in ecology, test ecological theories, analyze the biology and behavior of terrestrial and aquatic organisms, and contribute to the understanding of biodiversity and ecosystem conservation. Papers that imply environmental policy are welcome. Genetic papers related to biodiversity conservation are also suitable for publication. In addition to original articles the Journal publishes notes, reviews and scientific comments.
