The Graduate Program in Applied Linguistics at Unisinos and the Graduate Program
in Philosophy at Unisinos are honored to announce the International Congress on
Language and Interaction and the III National Congress on Philosophy of Language,
to be held from the 22nd to 25th of August and will gather specialists from outside
and inside Brazil to reflect upon the relations between language and interaction.
Triggered by the objective of stimulating interdisciplinarity among different
arenas of knowledge, the congress proposes a set of actions whose priority is
the dialogue between different theoretical approaches that deal with issues
related to language and interaction. By doing so, the discussions involve
diverse and at the same time converging areas, such as Linguistics, Philosophy,
Social Sciences, Communication, Administration, Psychology, Education, and
Health Care Sciences.
The event gives voice to different points of view by considering the different
theoretical and conceptual approaches that underlie the presented issue. At the
same time, works that relate theoretical reflection and actual experiences
involving language and interaction in different social realities are selected.
The event is directed to scholars from the Linguistics, Philosophy,
Social Sciences, Communication, Administration, Psychology, Education,
and Health Care fields who deal with language and interaction. It is intended
to teachers who work at college, primary and secondary levels, as well as
graduate and undergraduate students.
