* André Azevedo is full professor at the Graduate Program in Economics at Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS), economic advisor of the Chambers of Commerce of Rio Grande do Sul (FEDERASUL), and researcher at the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). He received his Ph.D from the University of Sussex (United Kingdom) and was a researcher at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
**Luiz Paulo Bignetti is full professor at the Graduate Program of Business Administration at UNISINOS. Originally educated as a chemical engineer, he holds a MSc Degree in Chemistry from Georgetown University, a M. Sc. Degree in Business Administration from PPGA/UFRGS in Brazil and a PhD Degree in Business from École des Hautes Études Commerciales, Montreal. He worked over twenty years as an executive in several Brazilian organizations. Professor Bignetti’s major research interests are related to social innovation, management of innovation, strategy and leadership.
